A memorial wall is a perfect addition to a memorial garden. Like a columbarium, it provides a way to maximize use of space. It allows memorialization of individuals whose ashes have been placed in a scattering garden, who are inurned beneath a lawn, or who have been buried in a remote location. The photo to the left is an example of a memorial wall (right) accompanying a columbarium (left).

Architarium’s granite memorial wall design is subtle and appropriate for any venue, interior or exterior. It can be
customized through granite choice and paint-fill color. There are also several options for incorporating a
memorial title: a granite header, a cast bronze plaque or even cast letters.
Sometimes, cast plaques are used for memorial walls but this approach has some disadvantages. Most notably, it is a very expensive approach. It is also hard to keep the appearance of the cast plaques uniform as new ones are placed with older ones. Cast bronze is also expensive to replace if a mistake is madew.
The granite memorial wall design has many useful features. Face plates are removable and easily reattached for engraving. No drilling or hardware are needed to affix face plates. They attach with a hidden mechanical mechanism. Architarium even
supplies extra face plates for engraving rotation, mistakes or breakage. |
